13 November 2013 we put a bid on this property. We finally made it through all the hoops. Trust me  there were a lot to jump through. Several selectman meetings and many closing date extensions, we finally did close on the 5th  of November 2014. Of course to add insult to injury we had snow to boot in 2014 and it was cold as Siberia here in Canaan. No work could be done until the snow melted and the weather was warmer. Now we knew that the house needed lots of work and we had changes we wanted to make anyhow.
